• Native Voyage 2022
• Concept: Initial themes : Travel, vibrant colour, natural elements, fire, water, stone. ‘Native Voyage’ is cross sections of an ejection seat parachute cast in polyester resin. The work was commissioned by the Grove Hotel. The piece from a far is undistinguishable, emotive and ethereal, upon closer inspection the parachute becomes visible. This triggers the imagination and evokes many current themes and narratives for adults and children alike. The piece is on display within the Hotel grounds and is open for all to visit when using the prestigious Golf club or by appointment.
